Amazing trainers!!!advice for nutrition and treats and also fun games and techniques to make training enjoyable. Victoria and Tom love dogs and see dog training from a different approach. Dog training based on behaviour management and praise rather than punishment that would increase the dogs fear or anxiety, something that my dog already suffered from., since I got him from a dogs shelter and don't know his exact background. After just a few training sessions and advice my dog became calmer, and overcome the fear of other dogs and cars. I am really impressed!! Looking forward for more session with Victoria and Tom. My husband and I decided to use Pooch on a Pedestal after reading the amazing five-star reviews, yet even against these high expectations we have been blown away by the service provided. Victoria and Tom have been amazing with our four month old cavapoo, Betsy, taking her out for walks and training/popping in for training when we are in work.
Before using Pooch on a Pedestal, the thought of someone else taking out Betsy made me feel nervous — but now, having seen the warmth and care Victoria and Tom have for Betsy (and how happy and content she is with them), I feel more at ease on days when I know they are seeing her. Victoria and Tom send us regular updates in the form of messages, pictures, videos (which we can't get enough of), and thorough reports. It really is an exceptional, personable and professional service that is great value for money.
Since they took on Betsy a few weeks ago, she has since learned paw, high-five, sit, down (well, she's nearly there!) and is even better at "checking-in" when on walks.

Victoria is just the best.. our little Yorkie/Maltese Cooper has grown to adore her and really enjoys his sessions with her! My pup only needed a couple of sessions and Victoria has provided strategies for me to work on for the future. Could not recommend enough! Tom has been amazing with Frankie! He would be too scared to go outside, very anxious and generally lacked confidence. With Tom's help, Frankie is a completely different dog, he loves being outside and definitely is more confident!

Have had Victoria walk our dog daily while we are in work for the last six months. Before we started the walks our young dog was extremely hyper active and struggled with all aspects of obedience. I cannot recommend Victoria & Tom enough. I contacted them to look after my 7 month old cockapoo Ralph whilst I was on holiday. I was very apprehensive as this was the first time he would have been left with someone else.

A few months have passed and Tom and Victoria services have been better than I hoped for. Dispite changing to nights in work I have continued having Tom pick up my corgi Fern as I can see how much she loves going for a walk with him. It's not just the walks it's the interaction he has with her that I watch on the videos. I'm off abroad soon and have arranged with Tom to walk fern every week day while I'm away. I know I can go with the complete faith that she will have less anxiety with me gone for a while as she will have Tom to take her out in the day. My father in law normally does the lunchtime dog play but he's tied up so we asked Pooch on a Pedestal to do it. We met them beforehand and discussed and met the dogs. We have two border collie bitches who turned 1 last week. Victoria and Tom have been great and I honestly think they love the pups almost as much as we do! They've walked them, played games, done some agility etc. Each day they let me know that all is ok and then later I receive a little "pup report" with more info and some pics or a video of what they've got up. This was only meant to be a short term thing but the dogs enjoy it so much that we've decided to carry on for a day or two a week once father in law is back on duty! Would definitely recommend - well actually I wouldn't, I selfishly want them to always have room to fit us in! :)

He knows so many commands and has grown in confidence with being socialised with various other dogs on these sessions.
